Santen Pharmaceutical specializes in the development and manufacturing of eye medication. Northern Europe’s leading eye medication manufacturer Santen operates globally and exports to over 40 countries, including the United States and Japan. The company’s European headquarters and R&D center are located in Finland, where the company employs 200 professionals in pharmaceutical production.

Santen has been a client with Lindström’s Workwear Services for years. The company utilizes Lindström’s ready-made collection and cleanroom protective clothing. Lindström launders and sterilizes the cleanroom clothing in its special cleanroom laundry, located in Hämeenlinna.

- It is vital for us that our workwear service provider can meet our needs. Because cleanrooms have to be an absolutely sterile environment, our goal is to minimize the particle load that travels to the cleanroom with the workwear, Santen’s Director of Manufacturing Sari Korhonen explains.
